Emerald Green Arborvitae

With its slender shape and medium height, emerald green arborvitae is often used as a screen for those who want privacy but not necessarily complete isolation. The pyramidal tree is dense, yet elegant; tall, yet moderate.

Emerald green arborvitaes prefer deep, well-drained soil and full sun. Frequent watering during the first year will allow these evergreens to grow healthy root systems and rise to roughly 15 feet by maturity. Most importantly, be sure to give your tree(s) extensive care during summer, as the emerald green arborvitae is not drought tolerant. For a lovely aesthetic, consider planting several emerald greens in a row.
